Cam louder then exhaust..VERY loud!

I was on this site a year ago about my cam noise and found it to be "normal"
. 3k miles later and I was driving and the cam noise got very loud and poped the clutch in and the engine stalled. It will run however, the (cam) noise is louder then my aftermarket exhaust!! What could it be...bad cam chain, tensioner, shim... Your help is needed.

Doesnt sound good, cam chain tensioner is the likely candidate as they are known to be weak but you will need to take the cam cover off and have a look to inspect the damage the loose chain may have caused.

my cam noise has turned out to be resonance, tho if it changes when you pull the clutch in i guess you're in less luck..
