Everybody have a good time and get home safe?
I was at the roudabout/link road great racing - good run home too!
I'll record this weekend as I didn't get up to see it, other commitments.
The weather stayed good which would have helped make a really good days racing.
Roll on this weekend and its off to BSB at Mondello.
Did anyone else notice a serious lack of police on both the way there and the way back? Not that im complaining, just an observation :D
I only saw one land rover on a motorway bridge coming up to Ballymena.
I did see around 6-7 police bikes travelling around on the course before and after the road closing (and a few passing outside Ballymena Mckie Dees) but nothing in comparison to previous years.
yes ,i noticed that the police presence was lighter than i thought BUT ,,,the rozzers were having a look at the bikes going over from cairnryan.cracking weather ,my face is like a well skelped **** we were at bally sally r/bout on the thursday and on race day we walked about the front and ended up at the metropole .tv doesnt do it justice ,so so so fast ,and the noise when they go past at 150+ jesus, highly recommended ,ill b going next yr

I was so good I put my baffle back in and a clear visor on. I only saw a pair of police walking along not bothering anyone and a Landrover out between races. What a fantastic day. I'm looking forward to watching it on TV on Saturday. This was the first time in years that I've been back to the North West and it was great. The car drivers all pulled over which helped a lot too. :D
Cheers

i had to say it was a great nw200 first time in a long time that their were some serious v twins mixing it up with the inline 4s i have to say the cops were not so many as last year but i seen a lot of them in were all the bikes were parked with note pads writing thing down but apart from that the weather was great
A few of us went up, it was great fun! I'm still suffering from sun burn though. I noticed a few curvies following us (we had three pointies) and then on the way home I shot past a blue pointy with tape all over the back of it! Any one on here?

well I had a cracking time, as always!! Burnt me bald head at Ballysally roundabout on the Saturday and got soaking wet doing a swift tour of the 6 counties on the Sunday!!
Anyone here own the silver curvy parked up off road just outside Clady?
Also tagged onto the back of a group from Belfast (Belfast Flyers?) on the way up to the course on Saturday morning.anyone here?
Cheers!!
I just checked the times there and realised that it was actually 12am that the coverage started and not 12pm
Missed the complete ITV coverage :x
Just by off chance ... did anyone manage to record the show to mpeg ?
Pm me if you have or if you know when ITV will be repeating (dont think they do)

unless they forward the show onto men+motors or something, i imagine that utv may not repeat the show until just before next years races :(
it'll likely be released on dvd later int he year though.

i think the bike with the tape on it was scooby2102 from carluke ,was it silver gaffa tape ?put loads on to avoid panniers scratching it.

Could have been! I was having a little trouble with my throttle, so wasn't paying it too much attention!
and then on the way home I shot past a blue pointy with tape all over the back of it!
I passed a blue pointy with tape all over the back just outside Ballymena on the Staurday morning on my way up to the NW200.
The rear plastics looked damaged and the tape looked like it was holding the bits in place.
We had a great day at Metropole corner.
