You did not fix it for him.

Jose Lamela: To use the image tags you need to keep BBCode turned on, your profile had them turned off which is why the images were not showing in your post. I have updated your profile to sort this in the future.

Cool, another Portuguese SV rider. And a black curvy, just like mine (mine still has the mirrors, mind). Damn hard to find them around here, it looks like someone really forgot they exist.

Where were the photos taken? First one looks a lot like Régua, is it?

What he says, really. The Alto Douro (the portuguese Highlands ;) ) really has stunning landscapes, full of twisty uphill-downhill-switchback roads. Oh well, one of these days...

Sorry to disagree. 95% of (at least proper) bikes in Portugal do have proper mirrors and indicators. If the riders use them is another story alltogether

On the subject, I met a kid in a bike garage (I was taking mine in for service) who was tuning the engine on a DT-like 50 cc two stroker; no mirrors or indicators, just like CC said, and loud like it didn't even have an exhaust. I asked him "are you finishing it yet?" mentioning the mirrors / indies, his reply was "no, just tuning it, it's mine, I don't have a need for them".

Jeez... I can't ride without them, while on traffic I think I spend at least 25% of the time glancing at the mirrors to check for stupid tailgaters... :?

Perhaps next week you'll see more pictures of Portugal. Another travel is beeing prepared. Don´t worry because the mirrors will be there... :?
