apparantly a big section of the A4 is to be closed from 17th July !!

they are closing off saltford etc and further down towards the globe, gonna make my life hell living in saltford...the joys yet another government run body making decisions....i will say no more about it....except prepare for bedlam....its going to be chaos / hell. (was bad enough when an accident closed off the a4 once...backroads literally nose to tail gridlock...no movement...1 hour to get from keynsham to saltford)

Nine week closure, whats the problem. Try living with road construction projects that have a couple of years duration.



Road engineers don't give a damm about inconvienience. They are simply jobs for the boys. other agencies don't care as they get to install their revenue scameras.

id live with it for a couple of years if it wasnt single lane a road that is the one and only main way between bristol and bath without taking an hour detour...

have to see what these passes look like when we get em...maybe a slick photocopy will work and be handed round :wink:
