I reckon most Gerbers are better designed than the standard Leatherman...Using the pliars on mine is a crash course in palm laceration.

What a great site, I'll push that one through accounting for approval tomorrow. Lots of good stuff.

I hate multitools. They are about as useful as a chocolate fireguard!

I've got a leatherman and a victorinox multi tool, both are great.

If you can try and find some where in the states that sells and ships leathermans cos that'll work out at about 50% cheaper than buying over here.

The best bit about leathermans is the gaurentee, even if you snap the flat headed screwdriver bit off trying to lever up a very heavy drain cover  you can send it back and they will replace the part FOC

I have one of those as well as my leatherman, they are very good. The knife blades or screwdrivers can be accesssed without unfolding the whole thing and can all be locked in the open position in a much better/safer way than with the leatherman and it has Nice smooth handles when you open them up for the pliers.

But your right it was about £85 and for that you can get a leatherman wave. If your really minted you can get the leatherman Titanium at about £120, they are the dogs danglies and come with lots of extra bits.

When I had my old CB125RS I really did have a hammer in my bag that I took everywhere. As the carb tended to stick and flood, a good whack always sorted it out.

Surely a gun would be more the tool of choice?

More use in a brothel, than on the battlefield. Soldiers use rifles, guns as they say. Are for fun.
