I clicked on this expecting the Arsenal "Menu" to appear (if you've not seen it, im not sending it ha ha)....

I am pleased at this news. Chealsea, your going down next year.

Seriously though, this is good news for Englsih football. Going on this end of seasons performance, next year should be very close..

Arsenal
Man U
Chelsea
Liverpool
Tottenham

Should be the closet championship for years!!!!!

I'm a Spurs fan, and don't think Spurs will be challenging for the title next year. 4th spot champions league spaces maybe.

Chelsea will prob win, Man U, Liverpool and Arsenal are actual challengers if they make decent summer signings.

oooooooooooooo my friends who support spurs go a caining over that 4th place issue lol....

tbh, you right, im not sure spurs will be going for top glory, but deffo will be fighting for one of the higher spots.

Arsenal need only a couple more players. We need to continue developing this squad. We shall also see how our little 17 year old does this summer as well.

Arsenal, 2 up front in 06/07 season....

as an outsider to the premiership, i couldnt care less!!

only joking. i reckon next season will be close. i reckon **** manure and chels will be the top 3, not in that order, but i'd suggest no more than 6 points covering them.

as a neutral to hear henry is staying is fantastic news. up there with cantona for influence on the team in my humble

:D although the fact Spurs didn't get 4th spot made the game less important for me. Good to see Lehmann sent off. I don't like him cos he has a go at everyone for challenging him in air.

If anyone wants to truly challenge Chelsea next season, they simply have to hit the ground running. No feeling your way in to form. That was the only difference that Chelsea provided in reality to this season's championship.

The exact same thing happened here in Spain with Real Madrid having a terrible start and only when heavilly criticised throughout the land did they begin to apply themselves.

Despite all of the talk of the Russian Chappies loose change buying all the best players, there are not many in the Chelsea squad that stand out head and shoulders above other players representing the other top 4 or 5 clubs. They do though manage to get down to business very early on in the season. :safe:

Wasn't my cousin Thierry at the end of his contract? You watch he has done Arsenal a favour, they now get a big fee when he moves on next season and he gets a whopping pay packet for as long as he remains. That's football folks.

I cannot understand how anyone could not see Liverpool as a serious threat for the title next year? They were only a point behind United in 3rd this year and a whole bagfull of points ahead of Spurs They are getting better, where as United seem to be a little stagnated.

My money would definitely be on Liverpool if I was a gambling man,,,,and that from (sorry to admit) a United supporter since infant school! :?

Peter - disagree, a friend (Avid snal supporter) has literally just called me saying his contract is for 4 years, but he's said Arsenal is everythign to him, he loves London....

tbh, i don't think he'll go anywhere now for a good few years. Maybe even until a few years before his retirement.

Yup, tis good news... I think if we'd have won he'd have left...

The real question to an arsenal fan is would you rather have won and henry go or lost and henry stay  :)

Q: What goes beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, etc?

A: Arsenal's open-topped bus being put back in the garage

Tight Premisership next season. I reckon Chelski have too many good players and predict a major clash of egos with adverse effect upon them.

Man Utd and Liverpool for sure will challenge them, Arsenal too. I think Tottenham over-achieved this year and will end up doing what Everton did. I like watching Michael Carrick though and hope he has a good World Cup and that Man Utd buy him afterwards

Nope, forget it. Noone's allowed a greater ego than José Mourinho himself, he'll put them back in their places in no time at all...

There will still be changing-room murmurings away from the public eye.
