So got my nice system the other day, micron downpipes and quill t3 can, fitted it together and on the bike it went,

problem 1 blowing front and back, solve the back blowing, front is, solve the front the rear is, now know why, the pipe is a little bit to short ont he rear one, cant really explain it as mums boyfriend fitted it (and he knows his stuff , been riding like 20+ years, and done all this stuff to everybike hes owned and raced)but its also not Bant round enough and has no flexablity,

Ringing up jb racing and getting it sent back, reckon its defective,

no gasket set came with it, nor was there any gaskets with the orginal, plus its not gasket realted, it blows as its a tiny bit to short apparently, it doesnt come fat enoguh over the collar, even with the clamps as tight as possible,

did you get the right pipes there is differences between the 1 gen sv pipes to the 2 gen pipes and micron make both they may have sent you the wrong ones or it could be that micron have sold more cr@p items

well ringing up 2moz, not a happy bunny, its a micron zeta system, with quill can on, supplied by them, gonna get a replacemnt if possible, if same happens get a refund on the pipes, but i dunno bout the can, i want the can as its lovely, but i dont want standard hearders, the can may have been hnd made to fit the mircon pipework

Just a thought. The old manifold gaskets were removed were they? Otherwise you would have trouble sealing them with another gasket in there, plus alignment problems possibly.
