Just a quickie to say hello.
I'm a real newbie, new to biking (Just did my direct access) newbie to SV's ordered one on Saturday (delivery14th June) and new to this site and forums in general.
Had a read through some of the posts and items, great site, keep it up.

Just found the Ecosse section so this is a copy of my post on idle banter.

 Two reasons I wont make Skye,
1. moving house on the 12th that's why I'm not having the bike delivered until the 14th.
2. I'll still have my stabalisers on well past the 17th, The only experience I have of bikes was 1 day on a Yamaha 250 in corfu more years ago than I care to remember and my direct access course in december. :?

Hiya Marc.

Welcome to the forums. Sounds like you've made a great start to biking. Pretty much what I did myself about a year ago. Been great fun so far.

I suspect that it'll just get better as I learn to ride "properly". You're not too far from a few of us, so perhaps we'll see you around soon.

Have fun, but above all ride safe.
