Did it take all the original coating off your fork legs?

What colour tin did you use? Yellow or Green?

If it was green I have 500-750ml laying around that's no use to me. Free to a good home. Trying to strip 86 years of lead and gloss paint off the staircase, I'm told the yellow tin is better for that.

So most of a tin of green stting in my garage.

Yeah. I would *think* not... but...I heard about a lad who was using stripper on his wheels, and it took the coating off. And he ended up polishing it up, and having blingy wheels.

Not my cup of tea. You can get wheels re-coated though I suppose.

Nitromors green will take the tank down to metal, no problem. Excellent to watch too... crinkle, crinkle, crinkle, then wipe- no paint!

It took a couple of goes but no problem really. The problem with fork legs is that the stuff dribbles off the side so you can only do one half at a time, otherwise it's a waste.

Still, good excuse to go for a caffeine hit. 8)
