After having been caught in the downpour on Monday my boots are just about dry again.

Only problem is they smell badly inside!

Should I just fit some odour eaters or does the army of forum users have any tips to make sure the kids don't pass out from the smell every time I get home!

TIA

i'm juse trialling some Schol shoe spray which is anti-fungal and anti-bacterial.

My gloves stank the office out this morning. Will let you know if it is a success.

:? my gloves are stinking, they're only 2 weeks old, is this a common problem or do i just have particularly sweaty hands. I assume febreeze is the answer again but how do you get it down the fingers?

Try turning them outside in and then spray.

bicarb of soda overnight in a tied up old sock inside the boot.

Actually the best thing for removing stink is the freezer although inconvenient.

So if you aint going to use them the following day and you can fit them in the freezer then do it and put them under the radiator the following morning.

Sub-zero temperatures kills the bacteria which is what causes the smell.
