Just wondering about the numbers of each age of SV bikes on here.

Curvy SV's only on this one please!

If pointy's want a poll, feel free to make one. There wasn't enough room for all reg options.

If anyone has an 'S' reg, you're in a very select group. The SV was only released about a month before the 'T' reg came into action.

I've got a T, though I also have a Y in the garage... but I select the T as its the one I ride at the moment.

Hmmmm...I'm sure he said curvy. A K3 curvy! I ain't never see one of those Curvy SV's only on this one please!.
Oh. He did.

are we sure they made the sv as an s reg, i thought they started at a t reg. So did I, I bought one of the first batch in the country, that was a 'T' plate, and I've never seen an 'S' reg SV650. Of course the 400 was available prior to the 650, if you had one which was age related registered then it could be earlier
could be wrong though, usually am :DI don't think so this time.

And I too could be wrong but here's my thinking...

The SV was introduced in Feb 1999, the exact day I'm not sure. So anyone sharp enough - with a keen eye for a soon to become cult bike - possibly had a few weeks to get one on the orderlist before 'T' reg came in on the 1st March.

So is there an elusive 'S' reg'er on here, I doubt it.

i've only ever seen one S reg, but i'm sur it was a private plate rather than an actual S reg, you'd be hard pushed to find one, as no one would register it before March 99 would they?

technically it'd be a year old after only a coupld of weeks
