I finally cleaned this up a bit  Basically I bought this, commuted on it for about 3 weeks in winter, and it turned brown. Prolites are more-or-less cast iron, and cast iron and salty water do not mix.
So, anyone want it? It has basically no wear worth mentioning, and EBC make great discs... It's just not suited to me, since you've either got to a) keep it dry, or b) not care if it goes rusty. The rust is entirely cosmetic when it happens, by the way, the braking surface is polished in seconds when used. And as discs go, it's damn good- better, I'd say, than the Galfer I've replaced it with.
I've cleaned it up to some extent, it's still very dull but it'd polish back up with suficient elbow grease- so could be ideal for the fair weather riders ;)
Pics available on request, can't get 'em uploaded just now.
