Nothing personal to anyone you understand,

but

i've been back driving for two days now and you would beleive some of the muppets out there. i haven't driven for a year so was taking it easy on a bypass near mine, and some fool cuts me up, no indication, not sorry or thanks hand gesture, and when i sit 2 yards off his bumper at 60mph he starts to slow down to the limit (50), when i pull up next to him at the light he won't even look at me

on my bike i wouldn't have even noticed or cared as i would have just left hime for dead, but i'd only been out for 2 mins

and boy racers, can't be bothered racing little corsa's in a 1600 pug 306, too easy, but they're everywhere, miss my bike when i'm stuck in the cage, wanna just leave them for dust

filtering's harder too

you're one to talk

i know, but it's frustrating not being on my bike, i have been suprised though that since getting back in a cage i don't feel the urge to go stupid speeds everywhere anymore

I am starting to realise that I would make a bad cage driver. I get so frustrated riding passenger in the missus' car. It's like on the bike I can get in front of most cars and just do my thing, but in a car you can't filter, can't get to the front at the lights and they are just way more expensive to run, insure and buy. And they all keep telling me I 'need' to do my car licence. Why?!

it's occasionally handy for picking the missus up when she wants to go out for a meal etc, i've been without a car for 12 months and she's got a bit wound up with me

pass your test and see if you can get a company/pool car, but you hardly 'need' to take your car test

I don't drive so unless i'm in a car as passenger i don't really notice half the problems i would do as passenger. I hate sitting in traffic when i can see a way through then realise i have to sit there cuz i'm in a cage ;) but yes there are a lot of idiots about on the roads.

One of my pet hates is cars sitting in the "fast" lane of the motorway going slower than the other lanes and don't even bother moving over. On the bike the only move aver a little bit expecting you to pass them in the same lane  ****s!!

Saw something funny while i was in the car going to Crawly, a vauxhall estate "filtering" down the M25 and when we caught up he was only 2 cars ahead and we hadn't even changed lanes!!!
