Been beautiful here today, although a bit breezy. Just had a shower of rain lasting all of 1 minute, but otherwise fine.

Quite warm, too :D

Just got home from Fakenham..............been up to visit Pete's grandson for his 1st birthday.

Had a nice dry run as far as Peterborough this morning, then it p*ssed it down until after Kings Lynn.

Dry in Fakenham all day, dry coming home....................until flipping Peterborough.................torrential rain, hail, the works!

Think we suffered from a bit of carb icing too................dammit.

All in all a moderately unpleasant ride home.

Rain, then drizzel then Rain then heavy rain, then wind and rain, then drizzel, then sun... for 18 minutes, then drizzel and heavy rain followed, now sun...
as the great monty python would say... "BL00DY WEATHER"

I can live with the rain, the drizzle and love the sun but hell, the bleeding hail earlier hurt !

2 seconds to get visor down and 10 mins of stinging.

me and 5 others rode to southend to see the airshow and had pretty much what everyone has described so far.

We had hail on the way and rode into the wall of rain we could see ahead of us on the way back, only to shelter in a petrol station further along.

then some sun and off we went, wet roads, dry roads, more rain, more sun, rain, wet dry, dry wet.

The joys of a british bank holiday
