Does anyone else wear odd things like this?
Me, I've just got me Sidi's with the titainum toes sliders.
Does your missus wear those when she rides pillion?

Can't remember the last time I took her pillion... don't think so...

How the hell does she change gear and use the back brake with those?
I used to drive a car in 5 inch platforms but that's a whole different pot of mackerel.

I have no idea... but she does, Jax on has size 3 feet anyway. Plus with-out those boots on she's on tippy toes riding the bike.
Ahh, the joys of NuRocks if I'm not mistaken.
The brake wouldn't be a problem for me in them, but changing up gears would be! That said I've got adjustable Gilles sets on the Blade that are set so it's fecking awkward for anyone else to ride (but really comfy for me and my wonky left leg!).
Nah - Sidi's for me every time, mainly as they do half sizes so I can get ones that really fit nicely.
That and I like to feel the road/pegs so to speak, an thick soles like that make ne nervous when riding. I used to have some for similar reasons as Jax (i.e. I'm short) but found I was actually more confident being on tip toes yet able to feel what I had my feet on.
Horses for courses I s'pose.
Though I pity her paintwork with those spurs! Though riding a cruiser would make for interesting sparks flying perhaps!
Those are Buffalo Boots.. Her New Rocks need fixing.
Ah. I wonder, how do you actually go about 'fixing' NuRocks - short of a sole so thick it needs six inch nails to keep it on?!

And hammerit...
They need some leather repair, but it ain't cheap... cheap then buying them but still not cheap.
But... but, those things are supposed to be Wolverine like in their indestructability!
What's Jax been doing - using that as toe sliders?!

Wouldn't surprise me, she ride like a deamon... the Buffalo boots have great chunks worn away.

New Rocks indestructible - no way. They really aren't that well made at all.
I haven't tried riding in mine. I don't think that I'd be able to change gear easily, if at all. Might try it around the block sometime, just to see.
These are my Wifes Boots... kind of kinky I thought but not as kinky as your's
Spurs, that reminds me of a song " on a Steel horse I ride, I wanted Dead or alive" by Bon Jovi

for some reason they remind me of wellies.
New rocks are fine for town riding, but for a weekend, I like proper sports boots!
