You wont wanna go for a wee during anything after the 1st day. PEEYOO, them p1$$pots don't half stink after the first day!!
Download seems to have the best lineup for festivals this year but I can't afford it. :(

Thought about it, but the bill's not up to scratch IMO. If they'd made it a 2 day festival I'd have been up for it, but it's spread a bit thin. Or got a bit more variety into the bill... Half the bands playing have either played before, or can only be distinguished from bands that have played before using DNA evidence.
Go and see Skindred! You'll have to miss Bullet for my Valentine, but I'm not entirely sure that's a downside, not on a bill with Metallica and Trivium doing exactly the same thing a thousand times better...
I'm off to Reading instead. And T In The Park, though it's rubbish this year if I'm honest with myself.

I agree matey, the bill's a tad pants, but we'd bought the tickets before we knew the line-up  (My g/f's mate pestered us to death, because she enjoyed last year's that much!!)

I think they're showing it at "The Village", but as it clashes with Alice In Chains (and it's not rugby  ) I won't be watching

You must of been yards from me.. i was on the railings on the central bit for that.
As for the heat what made it worse was that there was no escape as the tent was like a greenhouse the only cool place i found was the pubs in donnington castle.. and lets not mention the toilets
lots of bikes in car park didn't spy any SV's though.
All in all was amazing.. apart from metallica, soulfly and trivium were also very good, the band before trivium played a cover of walk.
I missed the Prodigy though was really looking forward to that

Glad I didnt go and have bottles of **** thrown around lol.
Was a good festival.
Fave bands of the weekend would be... Billy Talent and The Prodigy.
Hated the layout this year, with the snickers tent really far away (they should of shoved the camping further away and have the snickers closer) and the STUPID ONE WAY SYSTEM!
Another downer is that 4 of us (and about 20 people from camps around us) got robbed while sleeping. We figured it was about 4am (about an hour after i gave up and passed out that night) they opened peoples tents, grabbed trousers / wallets / handbags... took all the cash of them and then left everything else either in the middle of the campsite or front of tent.
Its amazing that NOONE even noticed, you would think someone would wake up with someone opening your tent (well i wouldnt i was in a state) but i suppose with Planes flying over every so often and the general background festival sounds.
First time this has happened to be in 8 festivals and end of the day it could of been alot worse. Lost about £40. Could of had to get driving licence / cards etc sorted if they had taken the whole wallet and I normally have alot more money on me at festivals.
Apart from that and the fact it was WAY to hot (with no availble shade anywhere) it was a good weekend.... I will be going again next year.
