That bike looks very familiar. Does your uncle go by the name of Benjamin Herble on one particular forum? It is a nice machine i must admit.

Amazing, who'da though something as bland and uninteresting as a Magna could turn out like that, beautiful - lovely work.

Quiff, I'd like to congratulate you on your courage in coming forward & admitting that you have a relative (blood relative no less !!) that is into tractors - ooops, sorry I mean Custom Choppers!! :P
Seriously though, not my style of bike at all - but (being a self confessed mechanical moron & engineering muppet) I can appreciate the work that goes into creating a machine like that !! :D
Oh yes, & SHAME ON YOU - you've never heard of a Yamaha R7 ?? :shock:
<education mode on>
It was the bike derived from the R1 back when in BSB & WSB 4 cylinder bikes were restricted to 750cc (ie a two-tier system that led to the demise of proper racing - hmmmmmmmm, does this tale sound familiar ??)
<education mode off>
I'm not into customs at all but I think these bikes are terrific :thumbsup:

trying to get the piccies of its construction- it was a shed.. the yellow magna pic.. is for illustration not the actual bike started with
you know when folk find old rusty classic cars in a farmers hedge that are being used foe a chicken coup.
it was kinda like that- looked beyond redemption !!

lmao thats probably one of the biggest tyres Ive seen on a roadbike before :lol:
It's an Avon AM42 Venom, available in sizes between 250/40-18 and 330/30-17 and a bit dear.

. . . I had never ever heard of an R7... didnt realise it was like the Holy grail..
:D :D :D
Not exactly the Holy Grail - but a STONKING bike !!
If you've ever ridden a Gixxer 750 you'll have a very rough idea of what it's like - but because it was derived from a race bike (and not a race bike derived from a road bike) the handling & performance was just so much better !!
I can't remember exactly what they cost when new - but they weren't cheap - which is why they're quite rare to see these days - at least non-damaged ones anyway !!

My tattooist has a bike with the R7 lump in it. It's a one-off streetfighter with custom frame and all sorts. Can't remember who built it though, Been in streetfighters.
Quiff you have a Cool Uncle.... Are you in the will M8 ?
