just wondering if anybody knows where i can get a performance down pipe or if they are even available.
i have a full twin renegade system and a k and n and dyno jet but was wondering if a new down pipe would be worth getting

You'd basically need to replace both headers and the collector part- assuming it's the normal Renegade pipework anyway, it retains the stock headers but modifies the back one to get the split. There'll not be anything you can buy that just bolts in- maybe you could get another race system modified but there'd be no guarantees. Most likely new pipework would be the way to go, from somewhere like Zorstec, Gibson, or OS Stainless. They'd need the bike...
I'd be amazed if it'd be worth it.. You'll get at most a couple of bhp, if I'm any judge. and it won't be cheap. Plus, if you get any benefits you'd need to rejet again. If you want more power, leave the breathing as it is and change the cams- it'll be cheaper, less set-up, and probably more effective IMO.
Renes are fantastic, but they're not really a performance system... But then, even the best system for the SV doesn't deliver a huge difference, so IMO that's not really worth worrying about.
Jorgse Renegade systems have all be tested with larger diameter downpipes and to no gain. Stick with the std headers and collector. Renegade do thier own collector if you did require on. One of the only systems that comes with a larger downpipe is the M4.
Trust me when i say that the renegade SV system has been tested to death with well over a 1000 dyno runs in the R&D phase of that system. The airkit was developed on my SV.

Yep, but it won't fit without modification to a Rene twin though. Viney knows of what he speaks...
