Well I am stuck working in Rugby, so the journey home tonight will be horrendous. I usually avoid working on a friday (Or any day).

So I did the trip in today on the bike.
135 miles

Preston - Warrington M6
Warrington - stoke A50
Stoke - Swalkston A50
Then down through Ibstock, Hinkly A5 over to Rugby.

135 miles 2 hours in glorious riding weather and looking forward to the ride home tonight. but I have to admit the seat is a bit tough on the aging bum

Take a walk down Old Compton Street (near the home of the Soho Massive) and you'll find you have plenty in common with at least half the passers by

Why are there a lot of old bum's in the neighbourhood? Or just worn out one's?

Take a rest break halfway through your journey.

I did the Bike magazine 440 mile route only stopping for fuel. My whole body ached when I got off.

Oooh I say Mr.Toad! That link was a bit of an eye opener for one that has led such a sheltered life like myself!

Funny how the boys of the Soho Massive seem to fit in so well around there isn't it?

Well Mr H, I suppose with the recent defoliation of your rear eye, you should be sympathetic to my dilemema

Now if you just had an eye opener as well we would rather not know.

You really need to stop hanging out with old bums.
If you must then use a KY Gel seat.

Well by the time I got back home, the odometer reading had recorded 285 miles when you also add that I worked between 8 and 5, I as bloody sore and knackered.

I ended up getting on the m6 at stoke and doing a 30 mile friday night filter. What is it with some drivers, just because they are stuck in a queue they take exception to being passed by bikes.

Verna, You can always rub my sore bits
