Gutted. My Avon Viper Sport. Two month old and ruined.

Well I'm back, £93 pounds lighter.

Apparently I nearly qualified for a new free tyre which I missed out on by a fraction of a mm. If the tyre had had at least 4mm of tread all over it gets replaced FOC.

it can in the middle if its gone in straight.

It didn't go in straight and chunked the tyre. When I looked at the inside it had ripped the carcas. Dead tyre.

Yeh, suppose though. They are a dammed good tyre. Just done three passes of the C & F to scrub it up a little :D
