Glad u guys like the pics.....there are a lot of small towns u ride thru and they have cool architecture just like the Colmar old town....some sort of German influence there.
Well i guess i will be planning the trip early next year so i will make sure i let you guys know just in case anyone does wanna join us....be prepared for a very long first day though!
The weather was blue skies all the way but a bit too hot at times....met a couple in an MG that had been touring the area for a few weeks and apparently the week before we went was all heavy rain! Lucky to miss that.

 ...he is a great guy but good idea not to get on his bad side ....definatly someone to have on your side if there is any trouble though....we both have nasty Italian tempers and my mate was always moaning that we argue too much  ...thats what bruvs do :!:

Through history the area has been either French or German, and was still under German rule up to the 1st World war, when France claimed it back (I think that's what I read...)

The best place I've ever visited in the area is a little town called Rouffach, just South of Colmar. See here (http://www.urbanbiker.co.uk/tour04/index.htm)

Nice pics BTW....
