Mate of mine had a nasty collision with a car the other week - his gxsr is now written off - he's well though - a few bruises and stuff...BUT the insurance company have given him a 'loan' bike until things are sorted - it's a three year old Bandit 600, which is not bad, for a loan bike. We were on the ferry this morning, chatting as you do - I asked him "So then - what's this thing like then?" to which he replied grumpily "It's like riding a fu***ng teapot!"

I laughed :lol: :lol: ...never heard that expression/analogy before!! Through my tiny mind went visions of leather clad people sat astride giant teapots revving up on the spout going nowhere!! Mad as a box of frogs!! :lol:

Always thought the GSX600F / Gsx750F looked more like a teapot! That and it has an **** like a baboon!!! :D

last year when I went up to the NEC I was nearly kicked off the Yamaha stand when I cared to venture my opinion (after being asked!!!) on the new R1 .. I merely stated that it looked like a hamster from the front that had stuffed its mouth full of nuts!

After a GSX-R then a Bandit is a bit of a let down.

Bit harsh, mind.

Could have bought a new yellow GSX600F with me money I paid for the SV.
