View Full Version : Pre Morning Rituals
Am not happy this morning my plunger is broken.... and I have no other way to make coffee. My day doesnt usually start till 10am - now i have no excuse but to do some work rather than coffee in hand and mouse in the other. And only decaf in the cupboard :( .
Any recommendations for small office coffee makers appreciated - am in the market for one now!
I'm the same, can't start my day without my 'proper' coffee. And I've got to wait today as I've got croissants for my collegues and they're not in yet.
But anyway, back to your question. I've got a glass mug with a plastic filter on the top, made by bodum, got it at sainsbury;s for £5 and it's excellent - I bought 3 at the same time in case something happened to one of them!
Hope you get your coffee sorted!

Me too!
I have 'proper' Italian percolated every morning otherwise never get beyond 'waking dead' mode.
But that's all the caffeine for the day. . . I just get too wired if I carry on drinking caffeine

I'm the same as you guys, the doc told me he actuly found some blood in my coffee stream!
But i'm also blessed, we have a fully working kitchen on display here complete with Miele coffee maker built in. Tho it makes it too easy for me to drink too much of the stuff but all i have to do is press on button and hey presto, fresh ground, fresh brewed and at the perfect temp. :)

Have 2 Neros in the office so end up spending a bloody fortune
We have to make coffee for clients and we were getting fed up with all the coffee grinds and the mess, so we invested in a Magimix Nespresso machine. It takes Nespresso capsules - this is NOT Nescafe - and it's fantastic. You can get all sorts of blends, order them on the net and they arrive next day. Not cheap - it was about £200 - but the coffee is just like Neros and there's no mess.
