just trying to weigh up some options to get me closer to buying a daytona 675..one of which is selling my sv for which i need an idea of interest and how much to let it go for
first the good points.........ermmm ok we will come back to the good points when i can think of some
heres the bad points(you may like to go get a coffee before reading further we could be here some time)
its pretty high mileage about 25000
never garaged
always seen rain
its had a couple of standing drops one on either side if i remember rightly and one low speed one to the right side all damaged important bits were replaced where needed apart from the fairings which are scuffed on the lowers and some scratches here and there.
the black vented things under the riders seat have gone awol
the riders gel seat has a tear in the cloth but i will recover it with black vinyl
the quill can has a dent in
scrapes and scratches to the levers bar ends and front indicators mainly from getting it in and out of the garden and down a passageway
basically it needs a bit of tlc and tidying up
ok if your still reading heres the good bits
hagon rear shock with remote preload set up for a 15 stone rider and on full adjustment a 10 stone pillion
ohlins front springs and heavier fork oil
quill t3 carbon can(with a dent as mentioned)
gel seat
undertray with two number plates one nearly legal and one not very legal
recent tyres pirelli supercorsas with plenty life left in them, medium compound with
a 170 front instead of a 160
new chain and sprockets
all brake pads will all be replaced within the next week or two
it will also be serviced by stewarts(spannerman) i'll also get him to check it over for anything else while he has it
taxed and motted but i dont know when till(its a long story  )so i will get a new mot and 6 months tax put on
recent new battery
so...anyone want an easy project ot a cheap entry into sv ownership :D
