The Polarbear

Hi Guys,
Sorry about posting in here but wasn't sure where to put this.
Can people just be aware that my reg plate was stolen off my bike last week! :hackedoff:
It is a "53" plate very easily identifiable by the small "Euro GB" on bottom left in blue but more distinctively by the "www.sv650.org - The Polarbear" slogan at the bottom.
The plate was standard size with standard font!
I have replaced the plate of course and have reported the theft to the Police and the DVLA but if anyone sees a bike with this plate on, please contact the police as someone may be using it to clone my bike! Also it concerns me as they may be riding really slowly and giving me a bad reputation!
I would hope and expect quite genuinely without causing disrespect to anyone on this forum that there is no-one here using my plate, but would ask in that eventuality, that they cease to use it and destroy it as it does have a note linked to it and would come up as suspect should a PNC check be carried out by the police! [-X
I never noticed that it had been stolen but I know that it had been on the bike when I left home that morning. I stopped in a town and went shopping for a while before returning home via 70 mile journey during which I did not stop. I had checked the nuts etc only 3 days earlier during a cleaning session so it didn't just drop off! If I had been stopped by the police I would have most likely received a £60 fine with 3 points on my licence so I was very lucky! The cars behind me must have laughed as I was slowing down for speed cameras when I proably didn't need to really.
Thanks for your help in this!
