had this discussion before several times, although I'm sure all these gizmos and gadgets work, I've never had a problem with a spanner and bit of tube into a jam jar.
Some of them aren't cheap either.
Cheers Mark.

Nor do i...well, on the car i dont, the bike, i can never get it 'factory feel'
Mate does mine... I tried the Jam jar, spanner and a tube... Always ended up with a spongy leaver.
Was looking at vacume systems though.
I use the Draper one on the last link
(Draper 37316 BBK1, BRAKE BLEEDING KIT)
It not much more than a plastic bottle with a tube on it but works really well.

I just fitted braided hoses and had no problem with the spanner, tube and jar technique!

I like my Mityvac... It's not essential, but then neither is a power screwdriver- doesn't mean they're not worth getting.
Don't forget to tie your brake lever up ovenight or so to get the really little bubbles out!
