I need to get some more chain lube prior to getting an installing a scotoiler.

Can anyone recommend a brand or type in the interim or does it not matter?

Heard chain wax is good for not flying off everywhere.???

Kind Regards

Was quite happy with the Casterol stuff before I fitted my scottoiler but tended to use whatever was on offer 8)

Engine oil, used or otherwise. In a scotty is ideal, but wiped on works well too.

Yup top stuff, but you need good arms as it fully needs 3 minutes shaking!!

engine oil or ES90 gear oil (the es90 is a bit thicker than engine oil, so doesnt fling as much)

Any recommendations of where to buy this in London. Web sites seem to want £4.50 for postage.

Only issue I had with the dry chain lube was seeing easily when it needed re-applying (it's clear and dry you know  ) You can see when the rollers gett too shiney, but I found it a bit annoying. Possibly I was just being a numpty though

Thanks, but I wouldn't save much as they charge £3 more than most other places (£10 instead of £7).
