Aw soo cute. My two cats are of course way cuter though. Not that I am biased in any way................

Question is.........can you spot Jemima? Daisy is the one doing some gymnastics!

Cute or Evil? It's a cat, so by definition is both.

Cats are great. And I never thought I would go all soppy over a pet...but I love them to bits.

Come on Ed. No trolls here. Seriously, less with the crazy talk.

That cat looks like just the sort of feline that would tie you to a chair, with your skull all cracked open, and slice off bits of brain, and fry them up, and feed them to you.

And then steal them back off your plate, and chase off to the corner, and hide, and wolf it down.

All cats are evil, especially as they keep carping on my lawn, had to remove 7 truds yesterday before mowing the lawn.

Is there any way of stopping them carping on my lawn (except for having my own cat, which is a non-starter)?

I think you have "issues" - get some therapy

That is the most evil looking cat I've ever seen.

Our place is so infested with cats, during the week I found a dump in my garage. And on the porch.

Its like they are trying to make a point.
I think I will make my own point one of these days.

Ah. No one mentioned the cat had been out on the beer.

Seems to be holding up well all things considering.

She looks Burmese not quite as pointed face as a Siamese. We had a cat move in about 2 months ago turned up at our back door all skin and bones and has stayed ever since. It's funny to watch the rabbits chase her out of the garden must explain the herbervoire canivoire relationship to them.

Neighbour of mine has bought some dried lion poo (honest  ) which is supposed to do the trick. Sprinkle it in the flower beds like you would slug pellets.

I'll ask for an update as to whether or not it works (or whether all it's done is attract lions to the garden) over the weekend

This is pretty much what happened here. She turned up all skin and bones wanting a drink of water (which we provided) then we gave her some food but didn't allow her in the flat as we thought it wouldn't be fair to the cats we already have. That night she came in through the bedroom window and woke me up by sitting on me!

Left it to the cats to sort out, if they allow her in then she's in. Needlessly to say, she hasn't left.

Is there any way to stop them carping on my lawn....

My mum used to use Moth balls. They hate the smell of them. Or get a dog!!

I'm more of a doggy person myself, much more loving and loyal. Although I'd never hurt a cat I much prefer dogs.

:D

You could try vinegar, they hate the smell of vinegar. It does wash off when it rains though.

If you want a bit of fun, get a water gun. They do learn :)

BB gun!

BB gun!

A fully automatic one that fires 300 BB's a minute will do.

I do not condone the use of BB guns on animals (unless they are pigeons)

I think you're right with Burmese - she looks almost exactly like my Burmese (called 'Puss') many years ago. She also wandered into my life and home for a while, had a kitten and then wandered off again.

The kitten stayed though - looked exactly like his Mum only smaller. The little runt was agrophobic too so would scuttle along the edges of rooms and peep out at you from under curtains. Didn't mind being carried outside as long as he could bury his head in your arm!

Small, black scuttling thing - needless to say I called him 'Spider'.

If you are going to keep her, get her spayed and given her jabs.
