Some eBay niceness.

Ebay isn't all doom, gloom and ripped of customers y'know.

Just thought I'd share the joy this afternoon - I was lucky enough to have a lot of orders last week - so many that it actually put me behind schedule and delayed the posting of a few people's stuff.

So I message them to let them know, the reason why and when their stuff will be posted a couple of days later.

The joy - every single one of them messaged me back saying it was no problem and that they were happy to wait - and thanked me for letting them know.

It was just nice that's all.

People whinge, people complain - it's in our nature and we can't get through life without it. But when they could, but don't, it's all cool n groovy.



Not enough cool n groovy simple 'niceness' in the world - so there's my bit. 8)

Anything 'Nice' happen to anyone else this?

I ordered an ink cartridge for my printer, item was from abroad and there were a few bids but still cost less than brand new over here.

So I waited happily as I was in no rush then I recieve a package with a post it note saying....

'Personally we think you paid over the odds so we have put an extra cartridge in there for you for free'.

Made me smile.

yep, had the same experience with ebay having bought and sold over a hundred times, have always found the peeps to be nice and friendly

sold a bike screen a couple of months ago and the guy mailed me to ask me not to send it for approx 6 weeks (even though he paid it within minutes of the sale) :shock:

one thing I usually pay attention to is their feedback, if its consistently dodgy then I give them a miss
