Hi All,

I have a red seat cowl off my old bike, which I wish to repaint (or attempt to repaint) into my new bike's colour, blue.

How exactly should I go about this? I've ordered some primer, some paint, and some lacquer, just wondering what process I should use...

Jake

A little while ago some one did a really in depth post about how to respray lowers properly. Sorry don't know where it was but a search would find it, it had step by step instructions and pictures.

EDIT: I got bored so did the search. Check out this http://forums.sv650.org/viewtopic.php?t=20426&highlight=spraying+preperation

I think Barty posted some good info about spraying panels and parts
