Hmmm....Live Moto GP experience...you can't whack it. Enjoy yerselves folks.
I'll be there with my brother.
Flying out on Friday morning and returning home on Monday.
After last year I just hope the weather is good, although I may just pack my 1 piece wet suit just in case.
Camping on Friday and Saturday and then going to live it up on Sunday night in the Hilton.
Will watch practice and qualifying from different spots around the circuit.
Not sure where I'll watch the actual race from.
Probably be lurking round the old hairpin/starkeys area.
Say hello if you see me, black Alpinestars leathers blue/silver Shark lid.
:D
I'm off, with a group who we race with. Sun, beer and bikes - what more can I ask for?
Just passed my test this morning, so quick change of plans, and I off on my shiney new SV. We normally plant ourselvs on the hill overlooking Craner Curves.
Might see some of ya there

Providing my lad Saint Matt picks up me ticket instead of blowing the money while he's camping there - I will be there.
Wheelnut - my mate used to work for Mobil and I've been in that box. The view's really crap. :smt016
Cheers Keith

Beware of speed limits
I have just come along the preferred route for motorbikes on Sunday. The organisers want you to come down the A50, then down the A514 towards Melbourne.
Recently the speed limit just over Swarkestone Bridge has changed from a 40 mph limit to 30
As I came into the village of Stanton by Bridge there was a yellow Hi Viz pointing a gun at me
Be careful as it would spoil your day

They are checking for speeding, now thats funny. It'll be so jamb packed due to the usual rubbish traffic mangement that everybody will be sat still in one huge traffic jamb
I really hope not I'm in the car

The lady in the ambulance was hunting for a camera while her colleague gave me first aid :D

Was an ace day, if a bit warm!
As I am new to this pointy riding stuff I worried while watching the temp gauge climb to 103. No gauge no problem on my curvy!!
Got chatting to the guys at blueflame and have now got an exhaust on order, also reluctantly got a hat just before my brain melted!
Worst bit of the day was not being able to walk from Melbourne hairpin to redgate after doing a circuit of the track.

I paid 60 euros for seats in W3 grandstand at Jerez which is on the exit side of the Angel Nieto Curve. Superb position and big screen out in front of us. It was also the place where the riders practised their starts and got up to all kinds of antics after the races.
Pretty good value to me that. 8)

Thats gotta be a record. It took us 10 minutes to get out of the circuit. Looks like they really have been listening to the public. Can't fault the car park system at all.
Great weather, Great racing.

it was ace, esp when Melandri ****ed up and went backwards and nearly took the rest of the lead pack with him.
And let's be fair, this chap did a damned fine job to take second.
