how long so curvy engines useualy last for? (millage)

and what are the early signs for when its on its way out?

mines done nearly 40k

recon its not worth much now?

wen it finaly goes what part actualy goes? and how much does it useual;y cost to replace it

and can you use an engine from a pointy sv?

Why would you want to sell it?
Any part could go. The rings would probably be the 1st bit to go leading to oil issues etc, but really anything could go. SexySi's rear barrel/Piston (fnar fnar) went at 10k. Many an sv on here with over 60k on the clock.

Not sure about the pointy engine.

They can last forever, it seems :) Even if the rings or valve seats went, good barrels and pistons are dirt cheap (£25 the pair) and heads not much more, since most broken SV motors fail from the bottom, not the top. You can get a whole engine with a good top but bad bottom for practically nothing.

But then, they can go relatively young, depends on a lot of things- usage, servicing, and luck I'd say.
