Saw that 456 a few years ago going 'round the North Circular flanked before and aft by two blacked out fast saloons — and they didn't like it when I put my car between the 456 and the tail car :lol: . Obviously someone with fame/big time dosh.

I was chatting to the driver of the Ferrari, a chauffer, and he told me its one of only 7 in the world.


So i put my cash away.
I want one thats totaly unique :lol:

Dude I saw that car on the way to work (A40) not 3 days ago! I was pretty surprised by it as well!

I knew they did some estates but just had never seen one, VERY rare.

This morning brought another RARE surprise as well, was it the Lamborghini Gallardo? Or the Zonda F Convertible? No, it was the Mercedes CL Convertible!! Now as far as I am aware Mercedes has NEVER made a convertible CL. That must have taken some doing.

Looked stunning though, very well done.

I gotta say, the only thing i really like about working in Central london is that in summer its like a car show.

This is the second time this Ferrari has parked opposite where i work. If you look real carfully you can see the shop in the 2nd pic.

I saw what was badges up as an M6 outside here yesterday. Just like the bmw M5 but much much more aggresive, almost scary looking.

but WOW too.

Even if they never get to go over 25 in this area. And that would be on a good day :lol:

My brother used to work for the Sultan of Brunei, and he had several Ferrari estates in his garage - in Yellow I seem to remember.
He also had a couple of Aston Martins that had been converted to estates, one of which had 6 wheels - twin rear axels - I think it was used (once) as a very posh shooting brake :shock:

I went to see a bloke about 12 years ago at his house, and noticed he had a few pedal cars in his lounge (it was a huge old farmhouse).

We got talking about cars, and he asked if I wanted to have a look in his garage.

If I am reading you right then you are wrong. CL isn't a convertible, the SL is a convertible, as far as I can remember the CL has never been a convertible, certainly not since I have been into cars.

All convertible mercs with the exception of the CLK are metal folding roofs, this CL was a ragtop convertible.

Also Jonboy, you are right on the nose about M5 Vs. M6 and I am right with you there, M5 is much better buy but......well when you see the M6 or any 6 series, love it or hate it, seeing it in person, it has sooooo much presence you just can't not like it! Still would put my money on the M5 though (if I had the money in the first place).
