About to make some up for a BBQ later (clothed) - any recommendations or favourites??

if you can get the dry mint marinade the butchers use thats wonderfull.

redcurrant jelly and rosemary is a nice marrinade for lamb aswell

i like this greek recepe for maranading lamb for griling or bbq

3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic crushed
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon bay leaf
salt and pepper to taste

mix it all up and laeve to maranade for a bit before coocking.


or try natral yogurt mixed with abit of thai curry paste. just be careful aboot how much curry paste :)

Soak in olive oil with a mix of herbs. Cook through on barby Then for last couple of minutes coat each side of steaks with honey.Glorious

You should also not totally discount the naked option. :wink: :P

Not weird at all. Weird is adding apricots in with Redcurrant into a lamb stew - very nice though. :D

But redcurrant gets my vote for a marinade. :D

mmm - am torn between yours and snackbars - will opt for a combo and coating of honey at the end!! cheers.

Not strictly a marinade, but cover them in balsamic vinegar in the last couple of minutes of cooking and they taste amazing!
