hi,

with it being hot yesterday and only having winter gloves, my hands were abit sweaty when i took my gloves off and i pulled the lining out by mistake. Now i can't get the lining back in, i can get my fingers in the lining ok but i cant get it back in the glove, it seems to be getting stuck at the start of the finger holes. I've tried wetting the lining which seems to have helped a little. Any more ideas?

the front brake lever is about the right size for pushing the lining back into most gloves.

Easy - just turn the rest of the glove inside out too :P

Happened to me a coupla years ago. Solved by spending about an hour using the handle of a wooden spoon & pushing the fingers back in.

HTH!

I don't want to Pi** on your party, but when I did that to mine I ended up buying a new pair :x :x :x

But then I didn't think to use the brake lever

If they were HG Pathans, would have been easy peasy!

Hmm I had a pair of Frank Thomas gloves that did that once (in fairness this was 1994 so they might have improved them now).

I never did get them to go back inside properly - on a couple of fingers the inners never went in as far as the outers so some of my fingers were always forced against the end of it.

Never had any trouble with my Hein Gerick gloves, I bought them in 1995 to replace the FT's and I used them on my ride tonight and they are still mint. My old man got a pair at the same time and he is still using them too!

Funny thing was when I went in the bike shop to buy them the salesbloke recommended them and said "when you pull your hand out the inner won't come out with it like they do with Frank Thomas" - which was well funny cos I hadn't said a word to him about why I was buying some new gloves!!!!
