View Full Version : Armour all
Has anyone used armour all on there bikes??
It should work right?
Um, never heard of it - what is it?
I'm assuming that it's not some form of chainmaille and studded leather barding (Medieval horse armour) for motorbikes! Though that would be cool.

as far as i aware its like a protector you put on vinyl and leather to keep them clean..im sure it has other uses too
What do you want to use it on?
Don't use it on tyres or on the saddle. It will make it too slippery. For plastics I find Mr Sheen works brilliantly.

Yep, I use it on all black plastics (mirrors, infill panels etc), works well on the dash and grips plus it makes hoses shiney too.
Word of warning, it makes the seat look ace, but unless you intend sliding around and hanging off the bike, don't do it, it makes it slippier than a slippery thing covered in oil....

i used bikespray, similar stuff, works ace on dark plastics and vynil and stuff.
i coat my seat in it and the "bum" part of my leathers for a slippier ride :)
hello im new to this site and it looks good. ive used armour all for years on my bikes. it brings all the black plastics and rubber up a treat and makes it all look new again, i,d definately recomend it for bikes.

my bikes got those rounded black plastic mirrors and the armoural brings them up lovely, you dont need to use it too often so a bottle will last a long time :)

mers good stuff but i realised that it actually cuts into the paintwork slightly.

>>>????????? oops !!!! :?
its not anywhere as strong as t cut. i noticed that when i used it, the rag turned a slight colour of the paint though. i think when you use it, it doesnt strip the paint of waxes, it actually adds a protection at the same time. its not like any other wax ive ever used, but its really effective, and brings your paintwork up lovely.

.should be fun on your rear tyre then
