came off the bike today, filtering on the outside of slow moving traffic on the holloway road and another bike drove out of a side street to turn left in front of a van, I did not see him until to late, front brake then dropped it, broke both brake levers, scratched the fairing, mirror and exhaust can.

other biker very apologetic and admitted it was his fault but i was filtering on the outside just over the white line so in the oncoming lane really, is it my fault too then???

Suzuki dealership quoted me £52 + vat for front brake lever and £33 for rear pedal, sounds :( very expensive, can i get after market ones, i tried M & P but there web site is cr*p

Think i might have an M & P catalogue at home

Any where else do um???

Doh! Hope you are ok. The rear brake pedal is only available from Suzuki. Somone might have one on here though. The levers can be brought as a set for about £15 iirc. CALL M&P.

Some of the cheap brake levers may not be adjustable, but the one from a 2001 ZX6R (J1/J2 model) will fit and often works out cheaper (it's the same part with 1 less adjustment setting).

Got the parts through www.Bike-Breakers.info[url] posted the request with them at 4 o clock go an e-mail back 4:20 saying they found the parts.

Front brake lever £12

Rear brake pedal £25

Postage £5

Total £42 inc vat

New parts from Suzuki £106 inc postage and VAT

Now £42 is still expensive in my book for 2 second hand levels but £106 well that's just crazy
