Is this that one that was made on "all the gear no idea"?
Was just about to say that, thats the one off the program, the guy was trying to flog it on ebay but no one was buying as the price was a bit steep. Hope you got a good price for it.

that looks much better those orange tyres were hideous.
Also have you had the tail sprayed ? I'm sure the bike when it was on ebay has some horrid lettering saying "Streetfighter" or something on the white section of the tail piece ?
How wide are those chicken strips?

I'd say(IMHO) by putting a damper on you are masking a problem except you are maybe running a 120/60 front.
The SV with the GSXR forks and the standard shock( I believe that is what you have on) shouldn't be shaking it's head like that.
Until recently , I was running a rear shock almost 20mm longer(lowest ride height setting) than standard(120/70 front) without problems. The only time I ran the damper was when I had a 120/60 with the above shock. The shock is off to be shortened to start at 5mm longer than standard as I didn't like not having a wider setup range.
Personally I'd go for figuring out why it's shaking it's head so bad rather than just sticking a damper on.
Infact with the 180 tyre it shouldn't really be doing that as the 180 IIRC has a smaller radius(nominal) compared to a 160.
Cheers
Ben
