The beef curry is very nice, but even better is the Chicken Tikka Massala (Healthy Eating packaging) which is also in the 5 for £4 offer. Just having one now! mmmmmmm

You lot on a sponsorship from Tesco or something?
They make £2,2billion in profit without your help. I think thats plenty.
Trying to increase the value of my shares! :D

yea u do-
I have 2 beef curries in my balti dish ( acquired from my pub days !)
I also like--
the:
Fish pie
shepherds pie (but asda is nicer)
the big yorky pud with sausages in
lasagne
its all nice...
for a quick meal of course
I dont reccomend living on them as a staple diet.!
Do they still do the sausages with mustard mash?
That was lovely!!!!

The big Yorshire pud is OK but you cant stick it in the microwave and takes forever in the oven so no good as a quick meal.

When went through your mind when you saw a thread headed with tesco beef curry?
I was surprised it was as deep as it was, all i was expecting was, yummy, yuk or i found a stag beetle inside and it had eaten it all.

ok I will make a concession here. One of my few allowances to my former life back in Blighty,is to pick up a PATAK curry paste every now and then. Add your own bits and bobs and you come up with an ace meal. :P

my gran ( who is now 96) makes the best chips and egg in the whole world !!....

tastes brilliant..
she appears in the doorway of the kitchen coming through the smoke like Kurt Russell in backdraft.... but carrying prize winning chips and egg instead of a baby ..

Well in the movie Shirley Valentine you will recall it became known as, "Chips and friggin egg" by a disgruntled hubby who was used to having steak on that particular day of the week! :P

well i hoped it might be a disclaimer saying the author had tried said curry and it gave him chronic indegestion and it kept him off work for a few days and for us all to avoid it.
but hey ho.
mmm.... curry. Now I know what to get from my sister's chinese takeaway. Yep, that's right crispy aromatic duck.

Lissa....So you don't like childish cheese then? :?
:D Peter.
I like cheese, of virtually any variety, but really good cheese on toast needs a strong-flavoured cheese to compliment the Worcester sauce :D
Damn, got the munchies now

Tesco used to sell an amazing Cheddar with caramelised onions....I don't normally like these funny "blends" but this was great with a lump of bread and a glass of cold cider, or in cheese-on-toast form.
I bought kilos of the stuff but it seems to have faded from view in my Tesco.

I do love a bit of cheese myself tbh. I am a fan of all manner of textures and tastes. Although I cannot bare the Spanish Manchego cheese as it can be as dry as carboard unless eaten togethr with a nice piece of Jamon Serrano. I am not a big fan of really pungent smells from cheese either. Of course Quiff would understand more about that kind of thing than me.
