went on Sunday- boy what fun- felt about nine again... .. aint been for years..

then went my mothers-- and took her fresh strawbs- she had already prepped some from supermarket... ! we had a taste test- no comparison..
KIM couldnt do the taste test- she had eaten too many when we picked them ..

goosberries- ys seenthem b4..

but what are redcurrants??>> ? do ya make a pie?

i cant belive youve never heard of redcurrant before mate, mmnnn roast chicken, with redcurrant jelly, there a bit like cramberries

Strawberry picking not done that for years - have to see if there are any fruit farms around here

I know a chappie there that built a brand new house about 10 years ago that was known locally as "The Castle" he grows Fuchsias? Just a couple of mins before you get in to Parbold. :wink:

Make jam with them all.
I'll be doing it this year again. Done it last year and gave everybody jars from christmas along with homemade sweet/cookies!!!!

I pickd the damn thigs for money when I was 16. It was backbreaking. I lasted a day and I never wanted to see another strawberry again :lol:
