Sore wrist cos the throttle seems really stiff...?

Hi guys - me again!!

I've had my bike for 6 months and always found the throttle to be very stiff. There ISN'T a problem with it snapping back shut when I let go of the throttle but I was lookin at a k6 model the other day and the throttle was so easy to pull back, whereas mine you've gotta be an iron man contender to keep it wound on!! ( TBH I thought that it was the norm as its my 1st sv but doesnt seem to be the case).

Is it just a case of oiling the throttle cables or something??

Any advice would be really helpful

Check that there is some freeplay, as in you can move the throlle back and forth a couple of mm without pulling the cables. Try loosening the cable adjust ers at the bottom, if this solves the problem it's down to adjustment, if it's still stiff as sin oil the cables with a hydraulic cable oiler or similar.
