View Full Version : Special Moment!
I just completed a handlebar conversion on my K3 and thought I'd take it out for a test ride.
Wheeled the bike out the garage got on and tried to start it... nothing. Lights on, but starter doesn't turn. So I spend about 40 minutes trying to trace everything back and I can't find a single fault.
So I decide that I'll take a look at it when I've got some free time.
A couple of hours later it dawns on me...
...check the kill switch! #-o
Garry done that the other day to my bike. Took all the fuses out and replace them!!!
At least you didn't do it infront of a group of bikers

I've done it to.
I re-adjusted my brake and clutch levers and then I thought I go for a ride to see if it was better or worse.
Queue 30 minutes of cussing, swearing as the bike would not start. ( Liz will know what I'm like ) Then I looked at the kill switch and realised that I'd knocked it when I was moving the levers
Even I laughed at myself
I spent about 10min when training trying to start the bike with the Instructor just standing back and laughing at me becuase i couldnt figure out what was wrong / why they wouldnt help me! :P
