thats not the field we are in- ours is off to the right oppo the car park.. better I think.. less road noise.. nd less mozzies off the river.. and- its all OURS !

its not the field u can see- its hidden with bushes.. u can just see top of a white van.. thats in the near corner.... not the big white van on left.. just above/right of the man lying down ..

see thats the white lorry/vanthat the field is behind.- its ideal


and here are the toilet/shower facilities for campers - didnt look inside but it appears really really clean and fresh and that the owners are proud of their pub and facilities.

off to the left are static and touring caravans.. and to the right is the field near the river that has tents in (THE ONE IN PIC 2 )- it appears there is no tap in our field but the fresh water tap is really close..

maybe it would be nice to camp right near it... but that field is smaller .. and the mossies there will be incessant...

it really is a 30 second walk to the river..

and theres a great walk along the side of the river- I know me n kim will be wandering for a few miles down the side of that on sat tea time..looks lovely.

really lovely scenery ... and tranquil.. well it was today ... ... I am sure we wont rev the bikes and we will be mature and sensible.. ... no doubt plod will soon be aware when we descend- so rowdines may only lead to local complaints and spot checks of exhausts and alcohol breath.. but we are good boys n girls..

it really isnt that noisy-- road noise-- the mic is sensitive.

I mean tby the caravans... back throughthe gate nd to the right is where all the caravans are.. so maybe we best not putting tents up where the steam roller is ..? I dunno..

Tht would serve as a god area to park up the bikes..

but my guess is everyone will want their bike next to their tent.. ??..

u cud swim in there- easy--there were loads of little fish too..
was shallow nice to go in ..

dunno about the legalities of it though!...

Cos.. unlike others I host the pics so you can see them without clickin on it again..I dont know how many piccies you have all shared on here-- but it is a B ache to host them and then cut n paste them to thread.

it takes ages to load a pic up to do this .. so while its loading I write the speel in between the pic.. then load that one so you have summat to look at in the interim and I can cross it off my list...

plus if anyone quotes a pic... like jonboy did.. its easier and just shows the pic pertaining to the comment..

I know u can still quote one pic in a long pic thread but not everyone can do yhis..
