Or is it NagromNivek :P

You're now listed as a definite for the Avon visit (http://p196.ezboard.com/fhornetsnest56467frm8.showMessage?topicID=1725.top ic)

If anyone else is interested in a trip to Avon tyre factory next Friday (14th July 2006) in Melksham, Wilts, then please post below.

Places are limited and this is primarily a Hornet's Nest thing, but I'm sure that spare places will be available to "outsiders"

I'm very interested, will just have to get the day off work.
Since it's my birthday, I doubt it'll be an issue.

Okay.......let me know if you can have the day off and if there's any spare places you have first refusal.

Anyone else?

Bollox - I can't go

What a ****-poor day I'm having...........first I find a nail in my bike's tyre which had me worried that I wouldn't make AR06. Get that sorted and then I find that my kids school sports-day has been re-arranged from this morning to next Friday due to the poor weather. There's a three-line whip in force

Double bollox - I was looking forward to the tyre factory trip

You utter *$%£. Guess I'm going alone, Billy no mates.

Well I hope you have to run in the Egg and Spoon race, cause I know where the egg will end up.

or how about the "Wellies full of Custard" sprint.:D

Perhaps I can tempt you with the offer of buying you the burgers at Aust, extra Ketchup.

What if it's rained off again?

Fair comment - can't argue with that

All I can offer in mitigation is that I'd rather be going round the factory where my mext set of tyres will be coming from

Guess I'm going alone, Billy no mates.

There will be about half-dozen nice chaps and chapettes on Hornets and it looks like Carsick can have my place, so you won't be alone 8)

At least your "Billy No Mates" trip won't be as long as mine tomorrow

Well I hope you have to run in the Egg and Spoon race, cause I know where the egg will end up.

The cheek!!!

or how about the "Wellies full of Custard" sprint.:D

I'm getting worried about you

If only time allowed!!!

What if it's rained off again?

I could come if it's called off the day before, but if they do what they did yesterday it won't be called off until gone 9:00am

Custard in the wellie is a traditional boy scout prank, one of my favorites :) .

I'll ask Mr. Avon if he can customise a tyre just for you, delivered with 6" nail ready fitted - save you the trouble searching them out.

Have a great day watching sports. When I had my two kids in the same school it lasted all day, infants in the morning and juniors after lunch. All day and they were only in one race each. Enjoy
