Sat morning ride from Peterborough to AR06

Anyone else just going for the day from Peterborough area. I am hoping to go but would be nice to have some company on the boring ride there - A1/A14/M6!

Was hoping to get there early enough to meet people/chat but not so early that I miss my beauty sleep! lol

I randomly pop back up in the Peterborough area for some other weekends.

I was camping all last weekend at Donnington!! I don't like carrying too much on the bike either and I haven't booked!

Are you riding down Friday evening or in the day - I have to work Friday untill 5.30!

I'll be going up early Friday afternoon. I wouldn't worry too much about booking as it seems we have a field to ourselves, though giving them a quick call might be an idea.

If you don't want to carry much in the way of gear then I can put my one man tent (nicknamed last year as "the coffin" :lol: ) in Sid Squid's support vehicle and you'd just need a sleeping bag (as I don't have a spare). Just a thought, let me know if it's of interest.

Don't think a 1 man tent apeals!

I might experiment with my 2 man and try attatching it to the bike tonight! All I need is my tent and sleeping bag! May see you tomorrow, if not will be there sat morning!

Last time I took my camping gear on the FZ6 to the BMF I dropped it - don't want to drop the SV as have just fitted blue flame can and lower fairings! Would be more expensive!

Well fitted tent and stuff too SV and it seems ok, not too heavy so unless its raining at 5.30 tomorrow eve I will be leaving!! If it rains I will come saturday morning as I just cleaned the bike!... lol
