I have my lovely new discs and pads and I think I know what to do, Remove the wheel, remove the discs, put on new discs and put new pads in calipers and then replace wheel. Is there anything else I sould consider/do for example will the brakes need bleeding etc? Also the manuals don't mention putting any greese on the axle, is this right?

Its as easy as that!

May need to push pistons in a maybe empty a little fluid from the resivour.

Dont need to bleed your brakes again.

I do greese the axle a little when I take it out.

Cheers, also how long does it take to bed in new pads/discs. I'm trying to decide if I will put them on tonight or after I get back from the rideout.

I have seen people use non-permanent thread-lock on the disc bolts. Not sure if this is essential or not, though I'm sure someone will be along to comment. :D

Clean the discs with a solvent based brake cleaner before you fit them so that manufacturing and storage lubricants do not contaminate the brake pads.

Aye forgot to mention the threadlock, although the bolts I have got (as my old ones are all shabby lookin) are blue on the end, do these already have thread lock on them?

Yes, the new bolts come with thread lock already on them.

How do they do that? The only thread lock I've ever used is liquid and goes off when exposed to air.
