this came today.

has anyone on her fitted one or know how to?

do you have to cut the original under tray? and do you loose your under seat box because the 1 i got from eBay doesn't have a space...


or is it sep from the orig under tray?

any help please

I think you'll have to cut the original, you usually do. I did. It's to retain the original fixing points on the rear frame and then screw (self tapper) through undertray into original. Also by retaining original it retains where the battery sits..

I bought a cheap original of ebay to cut in case I need to put the original back on as it was in excellent condition. (Not necessary, but that's me)!

Get yourself plenty of stanley knife blades and be careful cutting the stock undertray. Using a knife gives a far better finish than using a saw.

I've got a Powerbronze undertray fitted to my bike, which is very similar to that one. Did some careful cutting of the stock tray to make sure I kept the two mounts for the toolkit straps, just about enough space.

Depends how good job you do and how much of a compromise you are willing to make as to the best way to fit the undertrays though. Just don't go balls out and start hacking bits off or you'll end up chopping something off that you needed.
