Pulled all the tendons in my right wrist after playing in goal on wednesday (footyball to try to keep me fit). Power shot + limp wristed attempt to stop (morelike get out the way but stick you hand up lol) and one flicked back wrist.

I hate not riding my bike to London. Trains, traffic jams (en route to station), commuter toffs, and stupid prices to get on board a train thats late.... Dont you love public transport

Only advantage is i can take a longer lunch as its my bosses birthday, and as im not on the bike, i cna have a pint, or two, or three :D

No bike + commuting to london = More sucking than a vietnamise ladyboy on crack.

I've been in the car this week.
Slightly sprained wrist servicing a friend's car (stubborn oil filter).

It took me a while to find said car under all the cobwebs and dust, but I've quite enjoyed driving to work. I'm not that bothered about the traffic as I have a nice comfy seat, fantastic stereo and climate control. Never in that much rush to get work anyway.

I like to use the car every once in a while, makes the bike feel even more "special" when I come back to it.

Tell me about it 6 weeks in a cast till I can ride again. Went in on the train yesterday my god does it suck donkey balls!!! £6.80 to sweat my bits off standing up in a carriage full of other miserable sweaty people.

D'you remember when Steven Norris said that he didn't like travelling on public transport coz there were so many disgusting human beings on it. How true that is - been to Brum today on the train, I was crammed in with so many stinky people - I would have taken the bike only I had to go to Court and I didn't think the District Judge would like it if I turned up in leathers.

Daimo, you need to take up running :D

What are you men like   Had major surgery to both knees and was off work for 6 months, but three weeks after my operation I persuaded my hubby to plonk me on the bike and meet me at the other end to get me off.

Stupid, silly and insane I know BUT it had to be done!! NOW I'm without a bike cos i've just part x'd it. Do feel sorry for the other half putting up with me for the next few days :smt084
