Hi Sv'ers,

I was told by my buddy Tara to pop in and make myself at home, so Hellooo to you all, and a big shout out to Tara

I don't have a bike, but would love to have one *dreams of a red Duke 749*. I couldn't tell you how a bike works, but I know what I like the look of! Anyhoo, just because I don't ride, doesn't mean that I don't enjoy pillion-ing 8) ...

Anyway, that's enough from me, I'm sure I'll catch you all in the "idle banter" :grouphug:

I understand where you're coming from. I'm about 5'5- 5'6, only weighing 9 st 5 and was concerned about my ability to hold the bike upright. I ride an SV650 S, but am getting a gixer K6 on Friday and can't wait!!!!

If your happy to dream thats great, but, if you really wanna learn to ride a bike then with your determination you can do it. I'm proof of that Tracy :D

Hello TVR_Tracie, your in bad company with that Tara, whe will lead you into all sorts of naughty ways.

As for TVRs. I used to own a Vixen in 1983 (I wanted, but could not afford a 3000m). Lovely little car, it quite put me off ever getting another TVR . guy who sold it to me bought an Eclat S2. Strange that he asked me a month later could he buy back his old Vixen (To run whilst the Lotus was back in the garage). With pleasure I sold it back and stuck to my company XR3i

but seriously, you've all been great :) I've been looking for a friendly forum for a while now :)

I would love to ride, and If my fellow car drivers weren't so keen on being non-mirror-using-****s I might just do, but Im not the biggest lady in the world and I think a bike would be tooo much for me to handle (unless it was a mini-moto)...

Because the SV is currently very good at going around corners...without steering.

Hornets are great bikes, but this is an SV forum, so we might be a little more biased :D
