Doofer is a new one for me.... Unfortunately my mate and her family use that phrase for their TV remote... "Anyone seen the doofer" :shock: :lol:

That is quite disgusting and unecessary, Ms Razor. There are at least five words for top front bottoms in there, none of which have any place in a Motorcycle Forum. Thank goodness there is no discussion of Lady Gardens - that would be too much.

My wife who is a midwife had a woman come to her saying she had a problem with her "Mary Lou!" She had not heard this term before and was a little perturbed as her given name is Mary Louise :shock:

Is it only me that find it a little disappointing that a NHS department feels the need to publish such a list, even worse that members of the public would use 3/4 of the phrases contained within said list when consulting a medical professional.

The funnier story is that when I knew a lot of trainee doctors, half of them didn't know these terms. Some of them apparently went quite red when told!

Its all about being able to comunicate well with your patients

I agree Tim - do people really not know the proper lingo for their bits and bobs then? Obviously the biology national curriculum isnt working :wink: :lol: :lol:
